Drop Off begins in a sheltered bay at a depth of 12 meters, making it a site reserved for certified divers rather than snorkelers or beginners. From the very start, the dive follows a rocky wall on the right-hand side, with the seabed gradually deepening to about 15 meters.
Along the way, divers encounter one of the site’s most exciting features: a chimney-shaped cavity in the wall. Beginning at 14 meters, it rises vertically through the rock and allows divers to ascend inside, surfacing again at 8 meters. The chimney is wide enough for a single diver to pass comfortably, creating a fun and atmospheric swim-through that adds a sense of exploration to the dive.
After emerging, the dive continues along the wall until it reaches the true highlight of the site — the drop-off itself. Here the seabed falls dramatically into the deep blue. Open Water divers can enjoy the view from 18 meters, while Advanced divers are able to explore deeper along the wall, where the sense of scale becomes even more impressive.
This is also the territory of large marine life, and it’s not unusual to spot big, solitary groupers patrolling the area. With its mix of scenic wall diving, playful swim-throughs, and the thrill of the deep, Drop Off is a site that always leaves a lasting impression.
