Butterfly Cave is a dive full of visual drama and marine life, beginning just outside the cave itself. The maximum depth outside reaches around 20 meters, while the cave itself descends to 18 meters, offering a spectacular environment to explore.
Inside, the cave’s ceiling features two enormous openings that together resemble butterfly wings. Divers can swim through these natural arches, emerging at roughly 10 meters as they ascend — a truly magical experience that highlights the cave’s unique structure.
After exiting, the dive continues along the wall on the right, keeping it on the left side while exploring several crevices and small holes just a few meters beyond the cave. These formations create perfect hiding and nesting grounds for huge groupers and other fascinating marine life, adding excitement and diversity to the remainder of the dive.
